Pushpa 2: The Rule

Pushpa 2 The Rule is quite interesting because the man behind direction and my screenplay is Sukumar. It is another Indian action drama film in Telugu language produced in India.

After the huge success of The Rise, everyone is wondering how this film would play out, with all its thicks, a look that there seems to be plenty of.

It is great that the film has been discussed well before its release, in such fashion that the waiting release of the film too can be termed a thrilling experience.

Sukumar as such is a hardworking storyteller with strong character orientation driven plots as we saw in the first part of Pushpa series that he directed. He has assured that it will not only meet the anticipated bar set by the first one but surpass it.

Brilliant Cast

Pushpa 2 picks up after the first part left us a tough Pushparaj who has an admirable performance by Allu Arjun, center stage.

The part-2 takes on the exploits in a a much darker theme with Pushpa having to deal with his power, the power he holds through his relationships and the power he has over his enemies.

The end of the first in the series was suspense filled, and answered questions on specific character’s existence in the climax that was followed by series of conflicts that created a bar that fans looked thrust to even after the movie events were over. Part-2 promises more violent thriling action sequences making it a big budgeting risky drama

Allu Arjun’s character as Pushpa Raj is however one that has grown up to be popular in the Telugu film industry. Allu Arjun is well known for putting in a lot of effort while preparing for roles and outstanding the audience with his acting skills. He possesses great skills and has done an impressive job at Pulling the character of Pushpa Raj together.

Rashmika Mandanna portrays Pushpa’s wife Srivalli, who is a key character throughout his life including his journey. The emotional side of her character and the way in which she empowers Pushpa in bad times were strong elements in this film as well.

The main antagonist of the film is played by Fahadh Faasil, who portrays an SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS, who has a serious feud with Pushpa which evolves into one of the central points of the plot.

The music in the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad known for his colourful and catchy compositions. The previous film did well and music was an immense contributing factor, and the musical score of the second film’s soundtrack is looking equally good.

Release Date

A national release: Lastly, in spite of its big star cast, the movie Pushpa is slated to be released on the 5th of December 2024, with six languages supporting it’s release.

Such movies are quite ideal for Indians especially if they get a version in the Bengali language, so this movie can quite easily be regarded as an absolute first for the region.

Why to watch Pushpa 2?

The excitement around Pushpa 2 is testament to the blood and tears that have gone in to make every cast and crew member’s work shine. Be it the advancement of the plot or evolution of the characters, Pushpa’s direction touches the audience’s heart, courtesy of Sukumar and Allu Arjun.

Moreover, it is hard to find an element that works against the film other than the fact that it is a half baked venture.

The human elements are twinned with power dynamics and also with themes of commitment and violence, which essentially gives the audience variety. In addition to this, the film includes intense elements too – of passion, chases and emotions, with a more strategic execution in Play.
