Plot Summary
“Kannappa” at its core is about spiritual awakening and loyalty. As an atheist hunter, Kannappa begins his journey far away from any spiritual quest. However, extraordinary events make him have an epiphany on divinity manifested by Lord Shiva.

Filming Journey
“Kannappa” production involved huge amounts of efforts. In order to recreate the world of second century from New Zealand up to Canada Vishnu Manchu traveled through Ireland and Scotland. Principal photography commenced in Auckland (New Zealand) on September 25, 2023; other locations included Rotorua and Glenorchy.
Nevertheless, there were several setbacks during shooting like when Vishnu Manchu was injured by a drone during an action sequence. However, they overcame them completing extensive shoot schedules in New Zealand and Hyderabad.
